Two drug peddlers held with yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 28, 2019 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) attested two alleged drug peddlers with 8,417 pieces of yaba tablets
from Rosulpur intersection under Shibganj upazila here last night.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Monirul Islam (36), son of Md.
Abdul Hakim of Charpanka village and Md. Rubel Mia (20), son of Md. Afjal
Hossain of Charpanka Bishrashia village under Shibganj upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Natore camp led by ASP
Md. Rajibul Ahsan raided the aforementioned area around 9 pm and arrested the
duo with the yaba tablets, said sources at RAB.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to Shibganj police station. A
case was filed in this connection.
