JS body for settling audit objections on accounts of CMSD
DHAKA, June 27, 2019 (BSS) -The Parliamentary Committee on Public Accounts today recommended settling eight audit objections in the annual audit reports of the comptroller and auditor general (CAG) in fiscal 2012-’13 on the accounts of Central Medical Store Department (CMSD) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The committee made the recommendation at its 7th meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its Chairman Md Rustum Ali Faraji in the chair, an official release said.
The meeting reviewed eight audit objections on the accounts of the CMSD in 2012-13 fiscal and took the decision to finalize three reports.
The committee gave the guidelines to solve rest of objections by more checking within the short time.
Committee members Abul Kalam Azad, Md Abdus Shahid, Md Shahiduzzaman Sarker, Jahirul Haque Bhuiyan Mohon, Ahasanul Islam (Titu), Mustafa Lutfullah and Md Jahidur Rahman attended the meeting.
Health and Family Welfare Secretary and senior officials of the health ministry, audit office and JS were present at the meeting.
