FARIDPUR, JUNE 27, 2019 (BSS) – New Deputy Commissioner of Faridpur Atul Sarkar today sought support of the journalists to carry forward the government’s initiatives for development and social peace and harmony.
In a views exchange meeting with local media people he said positive view of the journalists is very important for building a developed nation.
“Journalists have to expose the news positively to keep peace and harmony in the society,” he said.
Around 50 journalists from different print and electronic media attended the function held at the DC’s Conference Hall.
Faridpur Press Club president Imtiaz Hasan Rubel, secretary Hasanuzzaman, vice-president Kamruzzaman Sohel , senior journalists professor Md Shajahan, ATM Amir Ali Tuku, Probir Kanti Bala , Nirmolendu Chakroborti, Reshadu Hakim, Bijoy Poddar, spoke, among others, on the occasion with ADC (general) Roksana Rahaman in the chair.
