RAJSHAHI, June 27, 2019 (BSS) – Director General of Directorate of Drug
Administration Major General Mahbubur Rahman said all the date-expired
medicines will be destroyed within July 2 next.

He revealed this while talking to the newsmen after opening ‘Desh Pharma’
as a model pharmacy at Shaheb Bazar Zero Point area in the city yesterday
evening as chief guest.

Gen Rahman said the drug administration has already started works of
destroying the date-expired medicines by the stipulated time. Time-fitting

“We have shared views with all the druggists and chemists in this regard,”

throughout the country including Dhaka. People can get all types of medicines
from the shops easily, he added.
