Sheikh Hasina is praised by world leaders for country’s achievements-Amu
CHATTOGRAM, June 26, 2019 (BSS)- Awami League Presidium Member and former minister Amir Hossain Amu MP today said that the all achievements of Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina are visible across the world.
“The statesmen of the entire world are praising her leadership as Bangladesh has now become a middle-income country from a least developed country and marching ahead defying all barriers under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”, Amu said this while addressing a discussion meeting as chief guest in observance of AL 70th founding anniversary at city’s engineer’s institution this evening.
Amu said AL was founded 70 years back for wellbeing of the common masses in the country and the party is now marching forward with the sacrifice of countless leaders and activists.

organized the day long programme in observance of 70th founding anniversary AL.
Presided over by its President Muslem Uddin Ahmed, the discussion was addressed, deputy publicity and publication secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Aminul Islam, special assistant to the Prime Minister Barrister Biplop Barua and vice President of Chattogram South district Awami League Motherul Islam.
General Secretary of south district AL Mofizur Rahman conducted the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Amin said Bangabandhu within three and a half years of independence established all necessary institutions suited for an independent country and constructed infrastructure along with rebuilding the war-ravaged country.
“Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been taking forward the country on development of highways,” Amin added.
Biplop said the government carried out many development works in the country, particularly in economic sector, in last 10 years and the people of this country will remember AL till the existence of Bangladesh will be alive.
Thousands of jubilant workers and supporters carrying placards, banners, portraits of Bangabandhu and his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina chanted slogans in favour of peace, progress and against militancy, fundamentalism, communalism, drug and politics of destruction.
