Tk 68 crore Melandaha municipality budget
JAMALPUR, June 26, 2019 (BSS) – Melandaha Pourasabha of Jamalpur district today announced Taka 68 crore budget for the year 2019-2018 giving importance on setting up modern dumping scheme and extension of water supply, drain construction and road infrastructure.
Mayor of the municipality Shafik Zahedi Robin announced the budget with estimated revenue income of Taka 2 crore 29 lakh 71 thousand 220 and expenditure Tk 2 crore 18 lakh 48 thousand 592.
The mayor said Taka 2 crore 38 lakh 58 thousand will come from Annual Development Programme and Taka 47 crore 71 lakh 50 thousand will come from Jamalpur district 8 municipality development project.
Taka 10 crore 51 lakh 62 thousand were allocated for important urban infrastructure development project and Taka 5 crore 18 lakh 59 thousand has been earmarked for northern Bangladesh Integrated Development Project, mayor said.
