CHATTTOGRAM, June 26, 2019 (BSS) – Detectives of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested a man with a firearm and two bullets from city’s Fisharyghat area under Kotwali thana early today.
Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, assistant deputy commissioner of Detective Branch CMP, said the trader identified as Saiful Islam, 23, son of Mohammad Ismail, has been running the business of illegal arms in the port city for long.
Mizanur Rahman said on a tip-off, a team of the DB police arrested Saiful with a country made gun and two cartridges from Fisherighat area around 12:30 am.
A case filed with Kotwali thana in this connection.
