BD boys team beat Pakistan in ITF Asia U-12 tennis
DHAKA, June 25, 2019 (BSS)- Bangladesh boys’ team beat their Pakistani
counterpart in the boys’ singles event of the ITF Asian U-12 team competition
held Tuesday at National Ramna Tennis court complex in the city.
In the day’s boys’ singles event, Nadim Mollah of Bangladesh lost Muhammad
Haider Ali Rizwan of Pakistan 7-5, 6-3 in the first set but fought back in
the second set as Sajib Hossain defeated Ahtesham Humayun by 6-2, 6-2.
In the third set, Nadim Mollah and Sajib Hossain pair of Bangladesh beat
Muhammad Haider Ali Rizwan and Ahtesham Humayun 5-7, 6-1, 10-3 to make the
result 2-1.
Bangladesh boys’ team will compete against Bhutan at the officers club
tennis court while the girls team take on Nepal at national tennis court
complex scheduled to be held tomorrow (Wednesday).
