ARREST-HIZB-UT-TAHRIR
Four members of Hizb ut-Tahrir arrested in city
DHAKA, June 25, 2019 (BSS) – Police in different drives arrested four
members of banned militant outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir from Shahbagh and Tejgaon
areas in the city on Monday.
The arrestees are Rafsanur Rahman alias Rishan, 22, Farid Uddin
Siddique, 18, Sakil Ahmed, 20, and Md Mahmud Hasan, 20.
Police also recovered one computer hard disk, two USBs and one CPU and
five mobile phones from their possession.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Media and Public Relations Division’s
Deputy Commissioner Md Masudur Rahman confirmed it to BSS.
