Some clinics in the country made its 95 percent income from such unnecessary surgery,” Barrister Suman told BSS.

The lawyer said the High Court may hear the case on June 30.

Barrister Suman, who already gained a huge fan following with his different activities for the welfare of the commoners and society, made secretaries of two divisions of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, president of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and director general of Directorate General of Health Services, respondents in the writ.

He also pleaded to issue rule as to why the court shall not declare respondents’ inaction in stopping such unnecessary C-section, illegal.
