Football match for street children held

DHAKA, June 22, 2019 (BSS) – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), in association with the Coaches Across Continent (CAC) and the English Football Association (EFA), organized a football training programme as well as football match for the street children held at the BFF artificial turf in the city’s Motijheel on Saturday.

BFF president Kazi Salahuddin was the chief guest in the programme while acting British High Commissioner to Dhaka Kanbar Hossein-Bor was there as the special guest. After the match prizes were distributed among the children.

BFF women’s wing chairman and FIFA and AFC councilor member Mahfuza Akter Kiron, BFF member Bijon Borua, BFF member Amit Khan Shuvro, BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Sohag and Jago Foundation executive director Korvi Pakshand were present in the prize distribution ceremony.
The BFF and AFC jointly organized different football programmes across the country as parts of their second phase of corporate social responsibility.
