DHAKA, June 21, 2019 (BSS)- Nine players are sharing lead in the points table with maximum three points after the end of third round games of second Golden Sporting Club FIDE Rating Chess Tournament now being held at
Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
They are Masum Hossain, Gias Uddin Ahmed, Rashedul Hasan, Mihir Lal Das,
Feroz Ahmed, Mohammad Yousuf, Mahbubur Rahman, Mostakim Billah and Dil
Mohammad.
Kumar Shil Prakash and Sirajul Islam are jointly in second position with
2.5 points.
In the day’s third round games were held Friday, Masum beat Asifur Rahman,
Gias beat CM Manon Reja Neer, Rashed beat Anowar Hossain Dulal, Mihir beat
Anisujjaman Mallick, Feroz beat Sazzad Hossain Chowdhury, Yousuf beat Faizul
Anam, Mahbub beat Mukitul Islam Ripon, Mostakim beat Shamsul Kabir Chowdhury,
Dil beat Nasim Hossain Bhuiyan, Shill beat Abdullah Al Raison and Siraj beat
Showhal Saad.
The fourth round games will be held tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 am at the
same venue.
