BIWTA demolishes 19 structures in Fatullah
DHAKA, June 17, 2019, (BSS) – Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority
(BIWTA) today demolished a total of 19 illegal structures from Boktaboli area
of Fotullah, Narayanganj.
The illegal structures include one-storied building, patrol pump, 14 sand
estuaries and recovered two acres of land situated on banks of Shitalakhya
river.
The BIWTA team also auctioned goods of Taka 81,000.
BIWTA sources said they would conduct drives in the days to come to remove
illegal establishments on riverbanks at the directives of Shipping Ministry.
