DHAKA, June 16, 2019 (BSS) – The government has promoted 136 officials, who were
performing as deputy secretaries or equivalent officers, to the rank of joint
secretary.
The Public Administration Ministry issued an order in this regard today.
Besides, 12 deputy commissioners, who were promoted as joint secretaries,
were transferred to different departments and agencies by issuing separate
orders today. But, they will perform their duties in their present working
stations until new deputy commissioners join there.
