Road accident kills schoolgirl in Noakhali
NOAKHALI, June 13, 2019 (BSS) – A schoolgirl was killed as a covered van
crushed her in Jibonpur area on Begumganj-Chhayani road under Begumganj
upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Tanjila Akhter Mitu, 14, of Vabani Jibonpur
area in the upazila. She was a class seven student of Chhayani Model High
School.
Mitu’s father Abdul Mannan said Mitu died in the accident on Begumganj-
Chhayani road on way to her school this morning.
Her body was sent to Noakhali General Hospital.
Police seized the covered van and a case was filed in this connection.
