Asim, Susmita loses elimination round in World Archery
DHAKA, June 12, 2019 (BSS) – The Bangladesh archers passed a frustrating
day as Asim Kumar Das lost to his Great Britain’s rival Ravenscroft Adam by
147-138 score in the compound men’s singles elimination round of the World
Archery Championship on the third day in Netherlands on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Susmita Bonil lost to Hoim Emily by 137-134 score.
Earlier, on the second day, Asim finished the 80th place among 139
participants with a score of 690 in the compound men’s singles while Susmita
finished the 60th position among 98 participants after scoring 677 in the
compound women’s singles.
Meanwhile, famed archer Ruman Sana will play his recurve men’s singles pre
quarter final event scheduled to be held tomorrow (Thursday) evening.
