Govt imports 600 new buses from India for BRTC
SANGSAD BHABAN, June 12, 2019 (BSS) – Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said.
the government has imported 600 new buses from India.
The minister said this while responding to a query made by treasury bench lawmaker Benzir Ahmed in the JatiyaSangsad here today.
“ Already 153 buses have been added to the fleets of Bangladesh Road TransportCorporation (BRTC) and the rest of the buses would add to the services in phase,” said the minister while responding to the query.
At present, a total of 967 BRTC buses are now being run in different routes across the country.
