Road accident kills two women in Dinajpur
DINAJPUR, June 11, 2019 (BSS) – Two women were killed in a road accident
in Vaduria Bazar area on the Dinajpur-Gobindganj Highway under Nawabganj
upazila of the district today.
The deceased were identified as Amena Begum, 67, and her daughter-in-law
Shahida Begum, 55, of Bagunbari village under Ghoraghat upazila of the
district.
Police said the accident occurred when a speedy truck crushed Amena and
Shahida under its wheels in the area around 11 am as its driver lost control
over the steering, leaving them dead on the spot.
Local people seized the truck.
A case was filed in this connection.
