Two children drown in Madaripur
MADARIPUR, June 8, 2019 (BSS) – Two children including a seven year old girl drowned in a canal at Mithapur village in Sadar Upazila today.
The deceased were identified as Sohan, 8 and Arian, 7. Both were the residents in the area.
Family sources said they drowned in the canal close to their house this noon when they were playing on the bank of the canal.
Local people found them floating in the canal and sent to Madaripur Sadar Hospital where the duty doctor declared them dead.
