DHAKA, June 4, 2019 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque today said the home-bound people are enjoying smooth journey ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr as there is no traffic jam on highways.
“There is no traffic congestion on Gazipur roads and highways ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr this year,” he told journalists after visiting overall activities and traffic system of Tongi, Chowrasta, Konabari, Mowchak and Chandra areas of Gazipur district.
“There is no traffic jam on the roads across the country and the success came for implementing specific plans, widening roads and constructing flyovers,” he said, adding the journey by trains and launce are also comfortable this year.
Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Anowar Hossain, Police Super Shamsunnahar and senior officials accompanied the minister during the visit.
