Holy Shab-e-Qadr observed in Khulna
KHULNA, June 2, 2019 (BSS) – The holy Shab-e-Qadr, the holiest and most
blessed night for Muslims in the month of Ramadan, was observed last night in
the city and district with due religious fervor and solemnity.
Muslim devotees passed the night in city’s different mosques, offering
special prayers, reciting from the Holy Quran, holding doa mahfil, zikir and
other religious activities, seeking blessing of the Almighty Allah for peace
and progress for themselves, their families, relatives, friends as well as
the nation and the Muslim Ummah.
Religious discussions were held at mosques throughout the night and food,
sweets and money were distributed among the poor and destitute.
A huge number of devotees also visited the nearest graveyards in the city
and district and prayed for peace of the departed souls of their near and
dear ones.
