Subrota takes solo lead in rating chess
DHAKA, June 1, 2019 (BSS) – CM Subrota Biswas took solo lead in the points table with maximum six points after the 6th or penultimate round of Amateur International Rating Chess Tournament now being held at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Feroz Ahmed closely following the leader with 5.5 points. Four players are sharing 3rd position with 5 points each. They are Jabed Al Azad, Md. Sariatullah, Md. Matiur Rahman (Mamun) and Md Asifur Rahman.
In the day’s 6th round games were held on today (Saturday). CM Subrota beat Sk. Rashedul Hasan, Feroz beat Mohammad Yousuf, Jamal Uddin split point with Mihir Lal Das, Sariat beat Jewel Khan, Jabed beat Akib Jawad, Mohammed Enayet Hossain split point with Mukitul Islam Ripon, Mamun beat Din Mohammad and Asif beat Aminul Islam.
The 7th or last round games start tomorrow (Sunday) from 9:30 am at the same venue.
