FARIDPUR, June 1, 2019 (BSS) – Two people were killed and two others
seriously injured as a bus collided head-on with a truck at Purbo Gangabordi
on Dhaka-Khulna highway in the district this morning.
One of the deceased was identified as Islam, 35, son of Nowsher of Satani
village of Magura district. The identity of other one could not be known
immediately.
Nurul Alam, senior station officer of Faridpur Fire Service and Civil
Defense said, the accident occurred in the area around 6am when a Dhaka bound
bus Banoful Paribahan collided head-on with the Magura bound truck, leaving
two dead on the spot and two others seriously injured.
The injured were admitted to Faridpur Medical College & Hospital, he said.
