Thunderbolt kills three people in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, May 31, 2019 (BSS) – Three people including two teenage boys
were killed by thunderbolts in separate areas in the district last night.
The deceased were identified as Jamshed Ali, 55, of Basudevpur village
and Musaul Haque, 15, of Sarangpur village under Godagari Upazila and Md
Moni, 13, son of Kamal Hossain, a resident of Kapasia area under Katakhali
Police Station in the city.
Police and local sources said thunderbolt hit them while they were
collecting fallen mango at their respective areas during a gusty rainstorm
that swept over this region at around 10 pm. They died on the spot.
