Two Rajshahi villages get power connection

RAJSHAHI, May 31, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 353 entities including
households and charitable organisations get new power connections in
Ranshibari and Kumarkhali villages under Bagmara Upazilas of the district on
Thursday.

Local Rural Electrification Board (REB) office installed 4.42 kilometers
of power distribution line and some transformers at a cost of around Taka
75.01 lakh in this connection.

Upazila Chairman Anil Kumar Sarker inaugurated the power connection
programme at two separate functions at Ranshibari Government Primary School
playground and Kamarkhali yesterday afternoon as the chief guest.

Union Parishad Chairmen Manik Pramanik and Abdul Hamid Fouzder and Abdul
Wahed and Asaf-Ud-Dowla from REB were present.
