DHAKA, May 30, 2019 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in
separate drives, arrested 10 members of an organised muggers gang from
different parts of the city on Wednesday night.
“The drives have been conducting as part of the security measures taken
ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr,” Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Saiful malik
(operation officer of RAB-2) said here today.
He said the anti crime elite force, on a tip-off, conducted the drives in
the city’s Tejgaon and Sher-e-Bangla Nagar areas and nabbed 10 suspected
muggers, who are active members of an organised muggers gang.

Bhuiyan confirmed it and said the RAB members arrested them in two
operations.
The identities and details of the arrested were not known immediately, he
added.
