Probe report against Khaleda in murder case Sept 3
DHAKA, May 26, 2019 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today set September 3 to
submit probe report in a murder case lodged against four including BNP
Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Tofazzal Hossain set the date as officer
in-charge (investigation) of Gulshan Police Station failed to submit the
report today.
The other three accused in the case are BNP standing committee member
Rafikul Islam Miah, BNP chairperson’s adviser Prof Emajuddin Ahmed and former
adviser Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury.
Jananetri Parishad president AB Siddique filed the case on February 2,
2015, for causing deaths of 42 and loss of state properties worth millions in
the arson attacks those were unleashed after nationwide blockade called by
the BNP chief.
After filing of the case, the court had directed the Gulshan police to
submit a report after conducting investigation.
