BRAHMANBARIA, May 25, 2019 (BSS) – Three people were killed and three
others injured as a truck hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Satbarg area under
Bijoynagar upazila of the district today.
The deceased were identified as Shanta Rao, 30, Abu Taher, 60, and
Billal Uddin, 40. All are residents of Madhobpur upazila in Habiganj
district.
Police said the accident occurred this noon on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway
when the truck hit the auto rickshaw from opposite direction, leaving one
auto rickshaw passenger dead on the spot and five others injured.
The injurd were sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital where two others
succumbed to their injuries.
Later, three injured were refereed to Dhaka in critical conditions.
