MSC, Brothers play 3-3 draw in BPL
DHAKA, May 22, 2019 (BSS)-Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited split points
with Brothers Union when their match ended in a 3-3 goal draw in the
Bangladesh Premier League Football match on Wednesday at Bangabandhu National
Stadium.
In the day’s match, Yousuf Sifat scored a brace in the 42nd and 44th
minute while Toklish added the other goal for Mohammedan in the 23rd minute
of the match.
On the other hand, Rabby struck twice in the 69th and 88th minutes while
Mokarram scored the other goal for all orange Gopibagh outfit in the 82nd
minute of the match.
With this outcome, Mohammedan secured 13 points from 15 matches while
Brothers Union Club bagged nine points from 14 outings.
In the day’s other match, Arambagh Krira Chakra forced Saif Sporting Club
to play a 1-1 goal draw at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh. In the
day’s match, foreign recruit Emile put Arambagh ahead in the 47th minute
while Demer scored the equalizer for Saif in the 64th minute of the match.
With this day’s feat, Saif Sporting Club collected 30 points from 15
matches while Arambagh secured 20 points playing the same number of matches.
