Lightning strike kills man in Nilphamari
NILPHAMARI, May 21, 2019 (BSS) – A man was killed after being hit by a lightning strike at Kharija Golna village under Jaldhaka upazila of the district today.
The man was identified as Mokbul Hossain, 60, hailed from the village.
Eye witnesses said the thunderbolt hit him around 1oam during rain when he was going to his crop’s field for bring his cow. Mokbul Hossain died on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge of Jaldhaka Thana Md Mostafizur Rahman said the body was handed over to his family.
