Hong Kong stocks close down
HONG KONG, May 20, 2019 (AFP) – Hong Kong stocks suffered another sell-off
Monday as concerns about the rumbling China-US trade war overshadowed a broad
advance across most of Asia.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.57 percent, or 158.85 points, to 27,787.61.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ended 0.41 percent, or 11.70
points, down at 2,870.60, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks
stocks on China’s second exchange, lost 0.75 percent, or 11.50 points, to
1,521.72.
