Speaker attends BASA’s iftar party
DHAKA, May 19, 2019 (BSS)- Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury attended an iftar party hosted by Bangladesh Administrative Service Association (BASA) at Officers’ Club here today.
Planning minister MA Mannan, railways minister Nurul Islam Sujan, state minister for rural development and cooperatives Swapan Bhattacharjay, Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir ,MP, cabinet secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam, Chief Election Commissioner K M Nurul Huda and chairman of Bangladesh Public Service Commission Mohammad Sadik, among others, attended the programme, said a press release.
BASA president and secretary of the Election Commission Helaluddin Ahmed delivered welcome address.
Before the iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.
Parliament members, politicians, cultural and media personalities and members of BASA joined the iftar party.
