CHATTOGRAM, May 19, 2019 (BSS)- Two people were Killed in separate incidents in the port city and district today.
The deceased were identified as Md Yasin, 35, hailed from Feni district and Md Yunus, 22, a resident in Bhola district.
Among the victims, one was killed by electrocution and another killed by
road accident.
Younus was electrocuted at an under-construction building in city’s
Banglabazar area around 9 am as he came in contact with a live electric wire
there.
He was taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) but the
attending doctors declared him dead.
In another incident, Mohammad Yasin received serious head injury as a
Chattogram-bound covered van collided head-on with a Dhaka-bound pickup van
at bypass road of Fuzdarhat area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway around 8 am
today.
He was taken to CMCH but the attending doctors announced him dead at about
9 am, said Alauddin Talukder, sub-inspector of CMCH police outposts.
Two separate cases were filed in these connections.
