RAJSHAHI, May 17, 2019 (BSS)- In three separate anti-crime operations, law enforcing agencies nabbed four alleged drug-peddlers with 3,323 Yaba tablets in the district yesterday afternoon, said the sources concerned here today.
The arrested persons were identified as Ziban Hossain, 20, Rahidul Islam,
32, Sadeque Ali, 38 and Momirul Islam, 38.
On tips-off, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in two separate
drives, arrested Ziban, Rahidul and Sadeque Ali with 1,823 Yaba tablets from
Damkurahat and Baneshwar areas red-handed.
Police of Detective Branch arrested Momirul with 1,500 Yaba tablets after
conducting a sudden raid at Kasim Bazar area under Tanore Upazila.
Three separate cases were recorded with the police stations concerned and
the arrested persons were handed over to police with the seized contraband
goods.
