Industries Ministry to take massive programmes on Bangabandhu’s birth centenary
DHAKA, May 15, 2019 (BSS) – Industries Ministry will undertake elaborate programmes to celebrate the Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The decision was taken at a meeting on the celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of the architect of independent Bangladesh at the Industries Ministry in the city, said a press release.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun attended the meeting as the chief guest while State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder was present as the special guest.
Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim presided over the meeting.
Humayun said the Bengali nation is always in indebted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. “We will have to remember the debt by taking massive programmes marking the birth centenary of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” he added.
He asked the officials of the Industries Ministry to ensure their huge participation in the national programmes marking the birth centenary.
Kamal Ahmed Mojumder underscored the need for ensuring extensive publicity of the programmes which will be taken for celebrating the birth centenary of the Bangabandhu.
