NOAKHALI, May 13, 2019 (BSS) – A mobile court here today fined one meat trader and two semai producing factories as anti-adulteration drive is being launched during the month of Ramadan.
The mobile court, conducted by executive magistrate Md Rugul Amin, fined Taka 4,000 from a meat trader, Taka 50,000 from a semai producing factory and Taka 20,000 from another semai producing factory at Begumganj upazila.
Ruhul Amin said the anti-adulteration drive will be continued until
prices of food and other commodities are ensured besides maintaining good
quality of foodstuffs.
