Engineer Ali Afzal passes away
DHAKA, May 9, 2019 (BSS)-Engineer Kazi Ali Afzal died of renal complications at Impulse Hospital in Tejgaon here this afternoon.
Afzal had been suffering from kidney disease for long, said a media release.
He left behind a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
A BUET graduate from the department of Mechanical Engineering in 1962, he worked as chief engineer of Chittagong Still Mill and Qatar Still Mill.
He also served as project realisation director of Lafarge Surma Cement and executive Director of Kazi Farms Group.
He was buried at Banani Graveyard after holding namaz-e-janaza at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Esha prayers.
