DHAKA, May 9, 2019(BSS) – Table topper Bashundhar Kings maintained their top position in the points table as they beat Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by 3-1 goals in a match of the Bangladesh Premier League Football held on Thursday at Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari.
In the day’s match, Motin scored a barce in the 56th and 63rd minutes while Marcos added the other one goal for Bashundhara in the 36th minute.
Foreign recruit Sambou scored the lone goal for Sheikh Jamal in the 52nd minute of the match.
At Shaheed Bhulu Stadium in Noakhali, Abahani Limited, Dhaka blanked NoFel Sporting Club by 2-0 goals.
In the day’s match, Nigerian striker Sunday put Abahani ahead in the early 5th minute while Ziban sealed the victory scoring the second goal for the sky blue Dhanmondi ‘outfit’ in the 36th minute of the match.
At Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj, Chittagong Abahani Limited defeated Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra by 4-1 goals.
In the day’s match, Bah scored a brace in the 69th and 71st minutes while Kingsley and Didarul netted one goal each for the winners.
Kato scored the lone goal for losers in the 10th minute.
