Victory for Victoria in BCL
DHAKA, May 9, 2019 (BSS) – Victoria Sporting Club registered a 4-3 goal victory over Fakirerpool Yongmen’s Club in a match of the Bangladesh Championship League Football held on Thursday at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur area.
In the day’s proceeding, Hanif scored a brace in the 8th and 39th minutes while Mehedi and Rony scored one goal each for the winners.
Khandokar, Jibon and Parvexz netted one goal apiece for the losers in the 17th, 45+2 and 48th minutes respectively.
In the day’s other match also held at the same venue, Old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club played out to a 1-1 goal draw with T&T Club Motijheel.
In the day’s match, Hafizuddin put T&T Club ahead in the 15th minute while Illur Rahman restored the parity for Farashganj in the 53rd minute of the match.
