HABIGANJ, May 9, 2019 (BSS) – A truck driver was killed as the truck overturned in Shaistaganj upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Mosharrof Hossain, 48, hailed from Joypur village under Chhagalnaiya Upazila in Feni district.
Officer-in-Charge of Shaistaganj Highway Thana Liakot Ali said the accident occurred as the driver of the truck lost his control over steering wheels in Olipur area in the morning on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway. Mosharrof died on the spot.
The body was sent to Habiganj Sadar Hospital for an autopsy.
