BHOLA, May 8, 2019 (BSS) – A total of Taka 11 lakh were distributed among cyclone Fani-affected families in Sadar upazila of the district today.
District Awami League distributed the money among 111 cyclone Fani-affected families on behalf of Tofail Ahmed, MP, this noon. The cash assistance of Taka 10,000 was distributed among each of the beneficiaries.
In this regard, a simple function was held at Koralia village under Dakhin
Digholdi union in Sadar upazila with Union Parishad Chairman Iftekharul Islam
in the chair.
General Secretary of district AL Abdul Momin Tulu, Upazila AL President
Mosharrof Hossain, Organising Secretary of district AL Moinul Hossain Biplob
and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Kamal Hossain spoke among others on the
occasion.
Mentionable that AL leader Tofail Ahmed, MP, did not join the function for
his sickness.
