Wazed Mia’s 10th death anniversary tomorrow
PIRGONJ, May 08, 2019 (BSS) – The 10th death anniversary of noted nuclear scientist Dr M A Wazed Mia will be observed tomorrow.
Pirgonj Upazila unit of Awami League, Dr MA Wazed Foundation, 14-party components and front ranking organizations of Awami League have chalked out elaborate programs to observe the day in a befitting manner.
On the occasion different organizations would pay tributes to Dr Wazed Mia by placing wreath at his graveyard and offer doa mahfil.
After asr prayers a discussion, doa and iftar mahfil would be arranged at ‘Joysadan’.
M A Wajed Mia, husband of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, authored a number of texts in physics and some political history books and served as the Chairman of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission.
