DHAKA, May 7, 2019 (BSS)-Former secretary of Feni district Awami League ABM Taleb Ali passed away at his Feni town residence at 8am today.
Taleb Ali, also former labour affairs secretary of the AL, was 93.
He left behind two sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
His body was taken to village home Krishtopur in Sonagazi upazila after a namaz-e-janaza at Feni’s Mizan Maidan today.
He will be buried at family graveyard after holding second janaza after Asr prayers.
ABM Taleb Ali was elected member of the East Pakistan Provincial Assembly in the 1970 election.
He was also elected parliamentarian in 1973 and 1979.
Taleb was an organizer of the liberation war in 1971.
