RAJSHAHI, May 6, 2019 (BSS) -Rajshahi Education Board (REB) has attained 91.64 percent pass in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in 2019.
The last year result was 86.07 percentage pass.
A total of 22,795 students including 11,686 girls got GPA-5 in the board this year. The board authority has published the results in a press conference held at its conference hall this noon.

Prof Pramanik says this year’s pass percentage has been enhanced to some extent due to some positive aspects. He added that the number of SSC examinee was 2,04,835 but 2,03,881 of those appeared in the examination in 256 centres this year.
Of them, 1,86,828 have become succeeded. Like the previous year, the result sheet shows the girl students remain advanced in terms of pass rate this year. Pass percentage of girls is 92.96 while the boys 90.44.
The number of 100 percent passed schools is 431 while none came out successful from one school out of total 2,646 ones under the board.
