1, 05,594 students get GPA-5 in SSC, equivalent exams
DHAKA, May 6, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 1,05,594 students got the highest
Grade Point Average (GPA-5) in the SSC and equivalent examinations under 10
education boards across the country this year which was 1,10,629 last year.
In terms of getting GPA-5, Dhaka board secured the top position with 29687
students achieving the highest grade point among the ten education boards
while Sylhet got the lowest position with just 2757 students securing the top
marks.
A total of 94556 students achieved GPA-5 under eight general education
boards, while 6287 students obtained GPA-5 under Madrasah Education Board and
4,751 under Technical Education Board.
In Rajshahi board, a total of 22,795 students secured GPA-5, 7393 in
Chattogram Board, 9023 in Dinajpur Board, 8764 in Cumilla Board, 9948 in
Jashore Board, 4189 in Barishal Board, 6287 in Madrasah Board and 4751 in
echnical Education Board.
