3 Killed in Bhola road accident
BHOLA, May 5, 2019 (BSS) – Three persons were killed as a truck overturned
in Char Newton area of Char Fassion Upazila here on Saturday night.
The deceased were identified as truck driver Abu Jaher, 25, son of Sirajul
Islam of Nilphamari district, helper Anwar, 15, son of late Dulal of Char
Newton village and another person who was on truck Jahidul Islam, 16, son of
Yousuf Ali of nearby Char Madras village.
Officer-in-charge of Char Fassion police station Shamsul Arefin said the
accident took place in the Char Newton area when the truck driver lost
control over the steering.
The truck driver Jaher and its helper Anwar died on the spot while Jahidul
was declared dead by the duty doctor when he was rushed to a local hospital,
he said.
The bodies were sent to the Bhola Sadar Hospital overnight for autopsy, the
OC said.
