AL to hold seminar on terrorism tomorrow
DHAKA, May 2, 2019 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) sub-committee on information and research will arrange a seminar titled “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Philosophy of Peace to Resist Terrorism” at Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) here at 10am tomorrow.
Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will attend the seminar as the chief guest. AL acting General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Economist Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, Professor of Dhaka University (DU) International Relations Department Dr Delwar Hossain, Islamic scholar Mawlana Farid Uddin Masud, Singer Professor Rezwana Chowdhury Banya will join the seminar as special guests.
The AL sub-committee chairman Prof Saidur Rahman Khan will chair it while Professor of DU Law Department Sheikh Hafizur Rahman will present the keynote paper.
AL Information and Research Secretary and sub-committee member secretary Advocate Afjal Hossain requested all concerned to remain present in the seminar in time.
