Chattagram emerge champions in U-16 basketball
DHAKA, April 30, 2019 (BSS) – Chattagram district team emerged champions in the 1st U-16 National Basketball Championship beating Dhaka district by 56-52 points in the final held on Tuesday at Mirpur Indoor Stadium.
Earlier, Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan finished third in the meet beating Rajshahi district by 53-25 points in the place-deciding match held at the same venue.
Bangladesh Olympic Association’s Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza was the chief guest in the final and distributed the prizes among the winners.
Bangladesh Gymnastic Federation general secretary Ahmedur Rahman Bablu and Basketball Federation general secretary AK Sarkar, were among others, present on the occasion.
