Two killed in separate road accidents in Brahmanbaria
BRAHMANBARIA, April 30, 2019 (BSS) – Two people were killed in separate
road accidents in Ashuganj and Bijoynagar upazila of the district today.
The deceased were identified as Ataur Rahman, 60, hailed from Khoriala
village under Ashuganj upazila and Parosh Mia, 18.
Officer-in-Charge of Khatihata Highway Thana Hossain Sarker said a truck
hit Ataur in Ashuganj Goal Chattor area on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway this
afternoon. He was admitted to Ashuganj Upazila Health Complex where the duty
doctor declared him dead.
Besides, motorcycle rider Parosh died on the spot as his bike hit a
roadside wall in Singerbil Bazar in Bijoynagar upazila this noon.
