DHAKA, April 30, 2019 (BSS)-The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) today recommended recruiting 4792 doctors of the 39th special Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination.
The 39th BCS was organised specially for doctors. Of the 4792 doctors, the PSC recommended recruiting 4542 as assistant surgeon and 250 as dental surgeon, said a press release.
The number of examinees for assistant surgeon was 32,568 and for dental surgeon was 5145. Of them, 13,219 qualified for assistant surgeon post and 531 qualified for dental surgeon post in MCQ examination held on August 3, 2018. The viva voce began on October 10, 2018.
